Stacey was born in Saskatoon and completed her veterinary degree there as well at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Stacey pursued her passion of equine medicine in southern California where she got to treat all sorts of equids including the Budweiser Clydesdales. She has a strong interest in reproductive work and neonatology of all species and throughout her education was lucky to learn from and work with some of the leading reproductive specialists in North America. Currently Stacey is very interested in Complimentary Veterinary Medicine and is certified by the Canadian Veterinary Chiropractic Association in Spinal Manipulation Therapy (Animal Chiropractic), her hope is to expand more in this field.
Recently Dr. Stacey and her Sister and Father traveled from Manitoba to British Columbia by horseback taking 4 months to travel more than 1700km. Through this they were granted the privilege of being in the Long Riders Guild, a select few individuals world wide which have travelled more than 1000miles in a single trip by horseback alone with no assistance.
